Prologue is a creative company founded in Venice, California in 2003 by Kyle Cooper and Kimber Cooper. For over two decades, we have defined the visual identity of films, television series, games, brands, and live experiences.
We believe that analogue craft matters in a digital age. That perfection is made of trifles, but perfection is no trifle. Every frame, every letter, every transition is a decision about how a story enters the world.
Founder · Creative Director
Kyle Cooper is one of the most influential title designers in the history of cinema. His title sequence for SE7EN fundamentally changed the medium and established a new visual vocabulary for film. He holds a BFA from the University of Massachusetts and an MFA from the Yale School of Art, where he studied under Paul Rand. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a Royal Designer for Industry, and has received six Emmy nominations and two wins. His work spans over 150 feature films and television series.
